Who is Aporia??
Aporia is a person that has been posting mysterious information on the AtEase Message boards. This person is thought to be a member of the band, many think it is Thom Yorke himself giving away some clues about the album. I have heard from several people that Radiohead have posted stuff on the message board over on AtEase a few times in the past.

All of the [ ] will take you to various YouTube videos about trees. Not sure why everything is numbered with a 2? This could point to a 3 disc album with there being (3) songs that are label as "2"

(this was a thread about someone wanting others to view the Radiohead artwork they had created, so this probably means nothing. I am just adding everything that is posted by Aporia)

The following was contributed by a fan of Radiohead named Matt.
Aporia's first post GEISTERTRIO is a reference to a television play by Arthur Miller, also known as 'Ghost Trio'. Is it referring to the ghosts/spirits on the album cover (there are only two)? Also, the play is in three distinct acts. Three albums?
I'm grasping at straws here. The next three posts and the later one about 'a metaphor for the Universe' with the links to the videos are all quotes made by various poets and a Roman Emperor. I don't really have much of an idea what they could mean.
As regards the Aporia page, for the 'Agenbite of Nitwit' part, you could just re-post what I sent you before as it is on the main blog. I don't have anything else to add to that, and it saves me having t rewrite it.
By the way, will the explainations for the earlier posts be put up at some point? The bit about Joyce and Ulysses (the ptee post) is important as it relates to the later posts. The overall theme I'm getting is definitely nature/tree/flower based.
Here's what I've got on the 'yet we trust' post (you can just copy and paste if you like):
'O, yet we trust' is a line from a poem by Alfred Tennyson called 'In Memoriam A. H. H'. (you can find numerous online editions if you google it). It is a requiem for Tennyson's friend Arthur Hallam, who had died.
Also, another Ulysses link. Not the book by Joyce, but rather the poem of the same name by Tennyson, said to be partly inspired by the death of Arthur Hallam.
These numerous links to Ulysses are almost too numerous to be a coincidence. Ulysses is the Latin anme for the Greek hero Odysseus, probably best known for his use of the trojan horse (a possible hint at things hidden within the album download?).
There are further links between Tennyson, Joyce and TKOL. Both Joyce and Tennyson reference 'Lotus Eaters' in their works: there is a chapter with this title in Joyce's Ulysses, and Tennyson wrote a poem of with this title. Both derive from the Greek myth of an island dominated by such flowers which are eaten by the inhabitants. Lotus flowers contain a narcotic, so those who ate them would fall asleep in a state of complete apathy, isolated from the world. This is significant, not only because of the song 'Lotus Flower', but because isolation and apathy are very much Radiohead-like concepts, and can be seen as themes in much of their work.
Sleep could rleate back to an ealrier post 'somniloquence', which means to talk in your sleep.
Another thing. The Greek myth in which the story of the Lotus eaters occurs is the Odyssey, the story of Odysseus (a.k.a. Ulysses).
There are almost too many links for this to be coincidence. It also requires quite an impressive knowledge of literature and Greek mythology. If this is a troll, it must be the most intelligent and well-read troll on the internet. Of course, we could all be barking up the wrong tree (or rather, the wrong limb).
Here's some thoughts on the latest Aporia status updates: (from At Ease)
If he's asking is to link Publius Ovidius Naso & Enos then the only thing i've come up with is that they were both involved in incestuous relationships.Publius Ovidius Naso = Ovid.
Ovid wrote Metamorphoses which contains several stories, one of which was that of Apollo and Daphne.
Apollo disses Eros (Cupid) who retaliates by shooting him with the arrow of love and Daphne with the arrow of hate.
Apollo chases Daphne, but rather than be with him, she asks her father to turn her into a...
wait for it.... a tree. Apollo saves the leaves from Daphne's tree and forms a wreath of laurels that become with symbol of champions.
This was #31 though it does not make much sense where it was posted, I am going to make a standalone page for Aporia
